(KRON) — All lanes are back open after an overturned avocado truck blocked northbound lanes of the US 101 in San Mateo Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The truck temporarily blocked the express lanes and two left lanes at 3rd Avenue.
The 30-foot long truck was loaded with 16,000 pounds of avocados, according to the CHP. The vehicle was involved in a crash with two other vehicles around 3:40 a.m.
One person complained of pain, but no other injuries were reported, according to the CHP. Most of the truck’s 16,000-pound load was saved, the CHP said.
