2-year-old child stops small house fire by alerting parents 

(KRON) – A hero can be any age, even as young as 2 years old. 

On Sunday, Luca said he saw orange and red flames at a residence in the 700 block of 35th in San Francisco. The 2-year-old alerted his parents of a house fire by saying, “Call 911!”

The San Francisco Fire Department extinguished the small exterior fire.

The department spoke highly of Luca and his parents. SFFD said on its X, “His parents are doing a great job teaching him life skills and it does help that he loves fire trucks. Luca saved the day and any further property loss.”
