(KRON) — This Monday marks Juneteenth, a federal holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans.
Here in the Bay Area, various events are planned including a special exhibit honoring the contributions of Black military servicemen and women. Leon Watkins, executive director of ‘The Walking Ghosts of Black History’, joins KRON4’s Stephanie Lin to share more.
