(KRON) – The California Highway Patrol caught a man drinking a Modelo beer while driving through a sobriety and driver’s license DUI checkpoint, authorities said.
The incident occurred in early June in Marin County. The driver with a green skull on the gear stick was detained by CHP.

At the checkpoint, CHP said they contacted 506 drivers. Out of the more than 500 people contacted, three were arrested for DUI and three vehicles were towed.
According to CHP, 15 citations were issued for individuals driving unlicensed.
